Dreamy Christmas Eve Couples Shoot
I know we’re already past New Years, but it’s never too late to share beautiful photos, right? My lovely friend Emiley had been dreaming of getting photos at the glorious Casa Feliz in Winter Park, Florida. If you haven’t heard of it, Casa Feliz is a brick historic home with iconic blue shutters and castle vibes. It’s located just past the adorable shops on Park Ave and right next to the pristine public golf course. It’s quite popular for weddings- and I can see why! Because of its popularity, and the majority of its venue space being outdoors, I generally wouldn’t just waltz up and take photos. However, Emiley was able to check to see that Christmas Eve was not booked. We knew we couldn’t pass up on the opportunity for her dream couples shoot!
These two know how to look sharp! I absolutely loved Emiley’s emerald dress and her husband Tom looked pretty snazzy in his matching bow tie. While there’s always a time and place for casual cute photos, there’s just something extra special about photographing clients when they come dressed in their finest!
Can we just talk about how many amazing spaces this place has? And THE ARCHES. I’m putting it out there, arches make architecture better. Casa Feliz is literally a photographers dream and I hope I am able to go back for another shoot sooner rather than later.
If you’ve gotten this far, it’s probably pretty obvious how in love these two are. I have actually known Tom since before he met Emiley! I’m so glad they found each other. (partly for selfish reasons because I wouldn’t have become friends with Emiley if it wasn’t for Tom! hahaha) They’ll be celebrating two years of marriage in March. Maybe I can convince them to get all dolled up again so we can do another glamorous shoot at a different beautiful location. Yes? Yes.
